jkmiller933@gmail.comOpen the app and tap the green Start a Ride button on the Home tab. You'll be asked to select a horse and grant location permission. Once you tap Begin, GPS tracking starts automatically.
Go to the Horses tab and tap the + button in the top right. Enter the horse's name, breed, color, and any notes. You can also add a photo from your camera roll or take a new one.
Yes. During an active ride, tap Pause to stop the timer and GPS recording. Tap Resume when you're ready to continue. The ride banner at the top of the Home tab will show Ride Paused while paused.
Go to the History tab and tap any ride. The detail view shows the full satellite trail map with your route, plus stats for that ride.
Tap the mph / km/h toggle in the top right of the Home screen. The setting is saved and applies across all stats and ride screens.
On iPhone, tap Sign in with Apple on the login screen. Your Apple ID keeps your account private and secure. On other platforms, you can sign in via the web sign-in flow.
You can delete your account directly inside the app. On the Home tab, tap the account icon in the top right corner, then choose Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm before anything is deleted. This permanently removes your account, all horse profiles, and all ride history.
Make sure Location Services are set to While Using the App for SaddleMiles in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services. For best accuracy, ride with the iPhone in an outer pocket or on a mount — not inside a bag.
If the ride ended unexpectedly (app crash, phone restart), check the History tab first — rides are saved automatically as they progress. If it's missing, please contact support with your ride's date and we'll investigate.
